Always squeeze dry, don’t tumble dry, and avoid direct heat as it degrades the stretch.

Are wool tights itchy?

No, our cable knit wool tights are designed to be soft against your skin, not scratchy like a jumper you can't wait to take off. The wool is blended with polyamide and elastane specifically so you get the warmth of wool without the itch people usually associate with it. If you've avoided wool tights before because of that, these are worth a try.

How warm are wool tights compared to regular tights?

Wool tights are one of the warmest options you can wear, warmer than even our thickest denier tights. Wool fibres trap heat naturally, so they're brilliant for proper cold snaps when 80 denier alone isn't quite enough. Pair them with boots and a coat and they'll keep you comfortable on the coldest days of the year.

How do you wash wool tights?

Wash your cable knit wool tights by hand, or pop them in a lingerie bag if you're using a machine, and wash them separately the first time in case of any dye transfer. Once washed, squeeze out the excess water rather than wringing, and let them dry flat instead of using the tumble dryer. Wool needs a gentler routine than regular tights, but it's a small trade off for how warm and soft they are.

What size should I get in wool tights?

These come in size bands rather than one size for every UK size, so check the size chart against your height and usual clothing size before you order. Go with what the chart says rather than guessing from your normal Snag size, since the fit works differently to the rest of the range. Getting it right first time means the cable knit pattern sits properly instead of pulling out of shape.
